Production Post 5 - Costume/Style
Now I had finished my shot list, I decided to think about where to do my Music Video and what studio would be appropriate and a reasonable price. This week I also decided to look around fashion shops to try and find the perfect image for my dancers/performers to wear. Here are a few ideas:

Production Post 4 - Shot List
This week I managed to finish off my script and use that to help me start to create my shot list. This was created on Microsoft Excel. It is a list of every singe shot in chronological order of when they appear on screen. Next to them have a small description of what is happening in that shot, what scene it is, and the lyrics that are being heard at that particular point. I will use this shot list when filming and planning my music video as I can recreate the shot list - shot for shot.

Shot List
Here is my shot list of every shot throughout my music video. It was very useful when creating my storyboard as itwas simple to follow and replicate almost. When filming my music video I will print out a copy of this and work through each shot to make sure I don't forget to film anything.

Script
This is the script for my music video and contains the breakdown of each verse and chorus and what will be happening during the song. It includes locations and the times of the day. This will be very helpful when filming my magazine and also when making my shot list.

Production Post 3 - Script Creation
Today I carried on working on my script which was on a program called Celtx. This program allows you to create a script for a short film, music video, screenplay and many more things. It's very easy to use and only takes a few minutes to get the hang of things. Each heading can be selected and will be indented in different places - saves time and effort. It's placement on the page looks neat and tidy and is perfect for what I need it for.
The top of each scene includes a location and the time of day - this sets the scene and is a bit of extra information. A short description of what is shown in that scene is then given and then the characters name and the lyrics they sing appear underneath.
Here is a short video on the basics of Celtx:

Photoshoot 1
I decided to hold a photoshoot using the female singer and another possibility of who I might use for my music video. I took more photos of the red haired girl, Mollie and I feel she would fit into the role of the character and style I am looking for to be in my video. I will do another photoshoot nearer the time once I have filmed the music video.

Production Post 2 - Photoshoot
Seeing as I had a clear idea of what I wanted in my video and who I was planning on using, I held a photoshoot to try and get my first batch of images for the digipak. I used my friend Mollie with bright red hair which is who I want to use for my video as she has the performance skills I require and she also has a very bold, different look about her which will appeal to a wide variety of audiences. I also took a few photos of Clare who I was thinking of including in a few of the shots as a backing dancer - this is just a possibility though.
The photoshoot appears to be of more "rock" genre which I realised after. Therefore I will need to do another photoshoot and focus more on the clothes, makeup and props to try and give it a Pop feel. I will aim to achieve this look by adding more primary colours and uplifting ones too. Pinks, blues, yellows, reds and greens will all be used to try and appeal to the perfect target audience.
I plan to do the photoshoot after I have filmed the video so I can reflect the feel of the music video and how the footage turns out in the photos for the digipak and magazine cover.
